The molded polypropylene battery box cover houses a marine battery of sizes BCI 27, measuring 12L x 6-3/4W x 8-7/8H, or BCI31, measuring 13L x 6-3/4W x 9-1/2H. The interior of the box provides ample space for battery cable hookup, and it is vented to allow the escape of heat gases. The box is resistant to battery acid and includes a strap buckle to secure the lid.
